We are a bit late with this one however the Badgers ventured to Rochester, New York on the weekend and met Rochester Institute of Technology, an NCAA Division III program playing in the Liberty League.
In another exhibition, Humber Hawks came up with a late basket to outlast Waterloo 80-78 in a game played in Rexdale. Hawks are the defending CCAA champions and returned their championship tournament MVP Vule Grujic back to their lineup for yesterday’s win. Jon Ravenhorst led the Warriors with 24 points including 6 for 10 from downtown however Waterloo lost the battle on the glass as the athletic Hawks outrebounded them 45-29 and shot 48% from the floor to claim the tight win.
Brock continues their OUA regular season schedule this coming weekend, hosting Windsor Lancers at 4 PM ET this coming Saturday at Bob Davis Gym. Windsor at Brock is one of only 3 games on the OUA slate this weekend. U of T Blues host York Lions Friday at 1 PM at the Goldring Center in Toronto in a game scheduled for the afternoon which is expected to attract local Toronto high school and elementary school students. Saturday night in Guelph, the Gryphons host Western Mustangs at 8 PM ET.
