Robin Short of the Telegraph tees up this weekend’s Acadia at Memorial doubleheader, accurately highlighting the Seahawks slow close to the first half after a very encouraging start. Most are aware of MUN’s impressive forward tandem of 6’9″ Vasilije Curcic and 6’6″ Caleb Gould. As we have intimated in prior discussions regarding the Seahawks, much of their success or lack thereof can be traced to the quality of play of their back court led by 6’1″ Davion Parnsalu and 6’0″ CCAA transfer Daniel Gordon. The 3-5 Seahawks need a sweep at home this weekend to re-establish themselves as a legitimate threat to making noise in the AUS.
