Strong start propels Lancers

Western 65, Waterloo 46  Mustangs jumped to an early double digit lead and won comfortably on the road as Anthony Spiridis had 22 points while Greg Morrow added 20.  Warriors shot just 29.3% from the floor at home.

Brock 83, Guelph 49  Before another sell-out crowd at the Bob Davis Gym, Badgers pulled away early in the second quarter to dominate the Gryphs.  Guard Ryan Bennett had 21 points to lead Brock while star forward Dani Elgadi added 15 points and 19 rebounds as Badgers bounced back solidly from their loss at home last week to Western.  Badgers now enter their most challenging portion of the regular season, beginning next Wednesday night at Ryerson.
