Osborne’s 35 not enough as Charleston Southern defeats Windsor

6’5″ sophomore Isiah Osborne had a game-high 35 points and lefty point guard Mike Rocca added 20 however the Lancers could not recover from an 18 point first half deficit in losing 89-81 to visiting Charleston Southern Buccaneers this afternoon at the St. Denis Centre in Windsor.  Osborne added 7 rebounds, 5 steals and a resounding slam in traffic in the third quarter igniting the Lancers.  Windsor got the game back to within 7 midway through the fourth but could not overcome the deficit.

For the visiting Bucs, Christian Keeling led the way with 24 points, 5 rebounds, while Javis Howard had 19 points, and a team high 7 rebounds.

Windsor will now host Drury University on August 13th at 4:00pm, and on August 17th at 7:30pm at the St. Denis Centre.
