Ottawa Boise State post-game comments


The Gee-Gees maintained the lead throughout their 90-88 win over Boise State – the teams will meet again on Sunday; uOttawa gets Norfolk State tomorrow at 3 PM local (5 PM ET) which is their fourth game in 8 days.  This evening, uOttawa had 5 guys in double digits including 6’3″ Caleb Agada (18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists), 6’8″ Jean-Pierre Charles (14 points), 6’6″ Matt Plunkett (12 points), emerging sixth man 6’4″ Brandon Robinson (11 points) and 6’6″ Brody Maracle (10 points).  Ottawa continues to start 5’10” sophomore Calvin Espitola and the young point guard has gained more confidence with each outing, scoring 8 points tonight while 6’6″ MacKenzie Morrison had arguably his best game of the tour with 9 points for Ottawa which held on to move to 2-1 vs. NCAA Division 1 teams on their Costa Rican tour.
