Brock 89, Niagara 62… The Badgers shot 51% from the floor and held the Knights to just 32% shooting while creating 27 turnovers, pulling away in the second quarter for a comfortable win in Welland. 6’7″ Dani Elgadi led the way for Brock with 26 points on 9-13 shooting as 11 Badgers saw at least 10 minutes of floor time, as Head Coach Charles Kissi showed off his club’s new-found quality depth. 6’5″ Johnell Simpson added 12 for Brock which shot only 5-22 from three point land. Badgers started a lineup of Elgadi, 6’2″ Ryan Bennett, 5’11” Nolan MacKenzie, 6’6″ freshman Daniel Cayer and 6’5″ Guelph transfer Trevor Thompson but substituted freely as they won comfortably in their first of five games in less than 5 days stretch that continues this evening at home against St. FX X-Men.
