Hot-shooting Warriors hammer Fanshawe

Waterloo 92, Fanshawe 69... In London last night, the Warriors shot a blistering 58% from the floor including 5-12 from downtown as all 14 players who dressed saw action in a comfortable with over the Falcons (OCAA/CCAA).  6’2″ fifth-year senior Jon Ravenhorst led the way with 16 while fellow fifth-year 6’5″ post Mike Pereira added a 15-point, 14-rebound double-double.  Freshman 6’1″ guard Simon Petrov went 5 for 7 from the floor and followed up his career-high 16 point effort vs. Manitoba with 13 last night in the win, which was Warriors second consecutive in advance of their game Saturday afternoon at Mohawk College in Hamilton.  Warriors will then travel to Ottawa next weekend for the annual Jack Donohue Memorial tournmant at uOttawa which features six teams in a RSEQ vs. OUA format – three games each day for three days; more on that to come.
