RSEQ: Jolin’s career-high 34 lifts Redmen at Bishop’s


#10 McGill (9-3, 3-1) 81, Bishop’s (3-9, 0-4) 73… 6’1″ freshman Kendrick Jolin dominated with 34 points on 6-9 from 3 and McGill forced 13 second-half turnovers with different types of pressure in a come-from-behind win at Bishop’s in Lennoxville.  Gaiters came out on fire shooting making 11 of their first 15 shots and 18 for 29 in the first half alone to build leads as large as 13.  But Jolin caught fire from beyond the arc and McGill was able to crawl back to within 1 by halftime.  Still, Gaiters took a 1 point lead with 5 minutes left on a three by sophomore Owen Martel but McGill then put the game away with a 13-2 run as 6’1″ Jenning Leung caught fire and the run was culminated in a three by 6’3″ Dele Ogundokun.  McGill held Bishop’s to just 4 for 13 shooting in the final frame including 1-7 3’s and 6 fourth quarter turnovers.
