Redmen add a pair of Montreal-area recruits

McGill recently announced the signings of 6’5″ Jahfari Coulombe and 6’9″ Arnaud Boyer-Cillis, both from Montreal’s Vanier College where they are playing under the tutelage of McGill alumnus Andy Hertzog. Coulombe is wing/forward (three/four) who is averaging 6.5 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in 18 minutes for the Cheetahs (10-3, third place in the CEGEP standings).   Boyer-Cillis is a true low post five who averages about 2 blocks per game this season, adding 8 points and 5 rebounds per game in about 18 minutes.  Redmen will lose 6’0″ Jenning Leung, 6’5″ Michael Peterkin and 6’5″ Daniel Pieper to graduation after this season.  Redmen look to try to clinch their 5th consecutive RSEQ regular season championship at Concordia this Thursday night where a jam-packed, capacity crowd is expected at the BeeHive.
