Badgers summer schedule includes US Virgin Islands trip + 2 home games

On the heels of last summer’s trip to Costa Rica, Head Coach Charles Kissi is taking his Brock Badgers on another trip south, this time to the U.S. Virgin Islands – the second U-Sports men’s basketball team along with Carleton that will participate in a series of exhibition games against NCAA Division 1 competition this coming August on the Caribbean island.  Badgers trip will overlap with Carleton’s by a couple of days with Brock planning to play the following schedule:

Wednesday, August 16th  Brock vs. Vanderbilt (SEC)

Thursday, August 17th  Brock vs. Northern Colorado (Big Sky)

Sunday, August 20th Brock vs. James Madison (CAA)

Monday, August 21st Brock vs. James Madison (CAA).

Prior to leaving for their U.S. Virgin Islands trip, the Badgers will also host a pair of NCAA Divsion 1 programs at the Bob Davis Gym in St. Catharines, as follows:

Wednesday, August 9th  Binghamton at Brock …  The Bearcats finished 12-20 overall and were the #7  in America East this past season losing in the first round of the conference tournament.  Bearcats are the second America East squad to visit Canada this summer along with conference rivals University of New Hampshire.

Sunday, August 13th  Jacksonville at Brock… The Dolphins finished 17-16 overall including 5-9 in the Atlantic Sun conference losing in the first round of the tournament to North Florida.  The tournament was ultimately captured by Florida Gulf Coast.  Jacksonville did get an invite to the Hugh Durham Classic – post season tournament where Dolphins were defeated by St. Francis (Pa.) in the first round.
