One of the top graduating guards in Canada, 6’0″ Alain Louis, has officially been accepted into Carleton and will add to the Ravens impressive stable of young guards. Louis, ranked #24 in the Class of 2017 by North Pole Hoops brings tremendous on-the-ball “d” with a mix of quickness, long arms and strong wide shoulders. Louis prepped at Thetford Academy in Quebec and expects to see immediate time in the Ravens rotation and eventually at the high end as his perimeter shooting improves.
The Ravens have scheduled a busy summer with several NCAA Division 1 games in Ottawa plus a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands in August for other games against U.S. schools.
Carleton expects to officially announce the signings of likely two more players in the coming weeks as Ravens look to replace top-end-of-the-rotation regulars 6’4″ Moser winner Connor Wood, 6’2″ Kaza Kajami-Keane, 6’7″ Ryan Ejim and 6’4″ Joe Rocca in their quest for a 14th national championship in the past 16 seasons.
